To each his own. I suppose if I cared about saving gas and money, I wouldnt have put 195 series tires on my car.

Isnt the whole reason of owning these rollerskates is to save fuel, money or both?

Well, keep this in mind. Even with bigger tires (I'll admit to having slightly bigger tires on my Mirage at 175/65/14), the hit you take on the fuel economy is not very big so you are still saving money and fuel. I've only seen a couple of MPG drop and am still averaging 42-46 mpg in mixed driving.
