Thread: Some Mirages have a "cell phone cubby/shelf" above the glove compartment

    What is the purpose of that bar? I have a hard time to figure how it would add anything to safety. The only thing I can think of that it will protect your dashboard against non-belted passengers during a crash. Not a scenario I'm worried about.

    Do both Canadian and USA Mirages have that bar? And do Canada and USA have the same technical requirements for cars?

    The cubby is held by four screws, and there is a left hand drive (LHD) and a right hand drive version.

    That cute little bar? It's held in by 2 12mm nuts.



    I'm also pretty sure it's going to be a direct swap. All the mounts look the same.
