the clock... what's up? (not keeping accurate time)

The clock in my car is startin to aggravate me.
Since I bought it in Feb. I have had to set the clock back 3 times. About every 2-1/2 months the clock gains 3 minutes.
    Anyone else having this issue?

    Will weld for beer.

Mine is about 11 minutes fast since almost a year ago. So about the same as yours.

ha, all this time I thought it was my boss sneaking into the car and setting the clock ahead so I get to work early...

My vespa clock is the same way. On the scoot it has to do with heat fron the baking southern summers making it speed up.

Does everyone have this problem? I asked the Mitsubishi service people and they said they hadn't heard of any problems, but would check with headquarters. I don't remember when I last had a clock that wouldn't keep time.

Wow, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one! But yea, the digital clock on the stock radio (non-touchscreen, DE model) sucks at keeping time. It gets faster even after just 2 weeks. I discovered this when I thought I was late to work because of it way back when I first purchased the vehicle.

I emailed Mitsubishi about this, after pressing them they came clean and admitted this was done on purpose to make the 0-60 times appear to be faster.
    True Story ;-)

Yeap, the clock accuracy really sucks. I wasn't expecting better though.
