Stupid question, but if a recall was issued in September 2015 for 2015 model year Mirages, and I purchased my car in March 2016, is it safe to assume the recall issue was resolved by the dealer PRIOR to my purchase?

Not necessarily. If you sign up on the Mitsubishi USA's site under owners and register your VIN any recalls that need to be completed will show up specific to your vehicle.

I wondered the same thing. Registering on the Mitsubishi website and checking for recalls I found my car already had the ECU and electrical connector work completed.

Registering was pretty easy and straightforward.
