    One Quebec dealer is already advertising that a set of winter tires
    What size are they advertising?

    tirendo a german reseller has a lot of choises. try ask them if they ship to you. the dutch website will show you the choises:

    The base model Mirage I tested had winter tires on it:

    Kumho I'ZEN KW22
    They appeared to have tread blocks that could take studs also
    165/65 R14
    79T
    unidirectional
    Max load 963 lbs / 44 PSI

    Would a taller, slightly wider tire fit ok? Like a 185/70/14 or a 195/70/14? I don't need snow tires where I live, but having a bit more sidewall and more ground clearance would be beneficial for me.

    Why did they have someone testing it with snow tires in the summer? That's going to hurt gas mileage a bit ...

    I don't see why not. With the usual effect on your speedometer/odometer.
