    Automatic CVT Shift Knob

Couldn't find any info on this so wanted to post this up in case anyone is wondering. The thread pitch for the CVT is M8x1.25. You can either get a knob in this specific size, or buy one that comes with a set of inserts (adapters). I had a jdm bubble knob laying around from my old s13 and decided to throw it on for kicks.

What does the "M" mean? Is M8x1.25M the same thing as M8x1.25?

How do you properly twist the knob off?

Grab it and spin it counterclockwise.
