What do you think of 5050's use instead of 3528; will it not be oversized for the leads spacing?

    Blue leds, more

Completed the Automatic Air Control Unit leds from orange to blue, the shifter selector area, the bulb wasn't led, it was incandescent. The P, R, N, D, and B were colored orange on the inside so I sanded it off and wrote the shift positions in a black sharpie so more is lighted. Also the driver window button is changed from the tiny dim green led to blue.

Was HVAC and window button all soldered to the board, or was it bulb replacement like the shifter was?

    Shifter colors

With the shifter, there's a thin plastic sheet with orange squares on it. Remove the sheet, cut out the orange boxes, replace with clear boxes. That way it doesn't look like the above shifter.

Has anyone done this in other colors besides blue? I love blue as much as the next guy but it hurt my eyes even after adjusting the brightness on the last vehicle I did mod on. I'd be interested to see what the interior would look like with other colors.
