Thanks guys. I bought the car and made an account here a while back. I finally found some time to start talking on the forum. Cheers
I love the LoZ reference in the name haha
Very sweet car. Looks like we should go take a dirt road somewhere
Thank you mate. Going to need some better suspension before taking any dirt roads haha.

Hey any chance you can post a link to where you got the tow hook and roof rack? I'm very interested in getting a roof rack & basket for my mirage.
The basket is generic so there's a bunch of companies that make the same exact model. I would buy some sealant to cover two parts because the basket itself is two pieces. Some people complained that it would let water let in where the two pieces meet. I live in washington and its always raining. I have no problems so far, the sealant should hold it up. I put some around the bolts too.
The tow hook needed some work too. It didn't fit 100%. I tightened it and it would be very slanted. I used a washer or two and then used gorilla glue. That tow hook is not going to come off.

Awesome! Thanks. Also did the roof rack itself give you any issues during installation? And if you have time can i get a close up picture of the roof mounting feet, like where it went between the door & body of the car?
