Thanks! It has been very fun to drive so far. It's about 500-700 pounds/300 kgs lighter than the Hyundai Elantra I've driven for 8 years, so it's very quick around the city...I love taking corners in it.

Post your total price for it would you? Just curious. I saw one of these today at my Mitsu dealer but it was a "Raillart" Outlander Sport and they were asking $30k for it lol. Enjoy your new whip, it's got a nice paint job and the black alloys do look nice in person.

Ralliart trim level seems to match the price of the SE trim level without all the SE trim level features. You are trading features for the Ralliart look (which means nothing performance wise).

Excellent comparable trim levels.

With dealers marking these up a lil these days, it seems financially more worth going for BE or SE trim. To me, the ES trim is like a slap in the face compare to the 2022 and 2021 model years as the difference is just the MSRP.

IMO, 2021 model and beyond is no longer meant to be compared to 2020 and earlier thanks to mild refresh and the fact that it came with the forward collision mitigation being standard (and Lane departure warning being available at BE and above). I predict the lane departure warning being standard in all trim level for the 2024 model year….that if it doesn’t get discontinued.

On a semi off topic note, WB Mitsu has over 15 Mirage in stock. Haven’t seen them reaching double digits since 2021!

If that's true (no reason to believe it's not), the Mirage is selling better than I thought. The lack of inventory made me wonder, & Wisconsin dealerships haven't had many in stock. I can't say that I see many of the latest models either. I see mostly 2014-2020 Mirages around my area (but I'm 60+ miles from a Mitsubishi dealership).

I also want to add this - If someone has bought a Ralliart recently (like this thread), I don't want to make them feel bad about it. They do look cool! I can see why someone may choose that over more features for the same price.

If someone likes extra features, they should buy an upper trim level Mirage. The price difference from top to bottom (currently SE to ES) has been $2,000 since 2017 at least. That's not a big price difference, & if a certain feature makes one happy I say go for it!

In my case, my trim selection was based on the manual transmission, but I still had the option of an ES or SE manual back in 2017. I wanted a car that was affordable, reliable, & economical. The Mirage checks those boxes nicely. When they were under 66% window sticker, buying a new one was a no-brainer.

Even today, they still represent a good value in today's market. I'm not sure they are a car that should be marked up over MSRP, but it is what it is. Then again, no vehicle should be over MSRP in my mind. That's also why I would shop around.

My filled up today netted 47.9 mpg, & I am quite content with that! It was a typical tank of daily driving back & forth to town (to do driving lessons with my drivers education car parked at the local high school). I've been doing some home projects & have made several trips to the store this past week, too. I have partly worn 165/65r14 Kumho tires up front, Nexen tires on the rear, & I keep my tires around 40 psi year round. My Forester's mpg would be half that mostly likely.
