I'm with you there, but for my entire fleet. Everything I own is getting as little money thrown at it as possible this year. Car isn't getting new summer tires(I missed out on a $25 set of 4 stockers), I'll keep the winters on. They're fine....

My side by side needs a couple a-arm bushings, but I'm relatively confident that a couple wraps of electrical tape in the right spots will tighten that up for a little while. It needs a new battery too so I'll probably toss the stock one and just run the cheapest car battery I can find instead.
Truck needs a shock mount welded back to the frame, shocks are over rated. I might just unbolt it and fix it next year. Or forget about it altogether.

That's just blowin' money. Hookers and blackjack are an investment...

Long road trip canceled. Thanks to rising gas prices (for unknown, mysterious reasons), it's only $164 more to fly, and shaves off 16 hours on the road. But I am taking Delta, and I have a 1 hr layover in Atlanta. Let's skip the Big Chicken and meet up at the Big Cinnabon!

That's a shame. But I don't blame you. Hope your flights go off without a hitch.

Thanks. I was looking forward to meeting you and Dirk, but I just couldn't justify the extra time on the road and miles on the car. Maybe another time!

I got a great deal on this coolant:

    https://germanparts.ca/parts/b1540l-...t-anti-freeze/

Indicates HOAT coolant which is the most specific I could find.

Nice find. My personal 2014 just has plain old green prestone in it. I use the blue pentosin stuff on work Mirages but retail on that stuff is $55/gallon.

Was using "OEM" blue 2 from Canadian tire.

    https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/o...w.ds#store=214

It says HOAT/OAT so I was in search of HOAT only, this german brand ended up being even less expensive than CT.
