To install the factory side skirts, do you have to remove the smaller black plastic "sill" / lip beneath the rocker panel?
    Thank you.

I think you need to remove it.
There are some installation points under the original skirt.
By looking at the picture: 6 plastic clips and possibly 5 bolts?

Just washed and waxed the car today because off all the bugs and dirt.
    ~2250km on the meter currently.

I have also ~4,5m2 of STP Black Gold sound deadener waiting in the trunk to be put on the car.

Also ordered another key with remote controller from ebay and will try to get it working somehow.

Got the key today, but it has a bit different key blade on it.
Still need to try if the remote works..

    Mileage ~3890km.

No news regarding the remote/key combo.

About few weeks ago my wife drove our little kiwi from our parking lot to the main road and scratched front bumber and those corner pieces, I got installed by dealership.

Front end hit the ground because there is asphalt work being done on the main road and they took a big chunk of asphalt off next to the sidewalk and it had quite a drop down.

I talked with the dealership today and they did work/part estimation for the insurance company. Asphalt company is also going to pay our deductible + amount of the insurance bonus loss and this is alone 380,60€.

Luckily you cannot see that the cars bumper is scratched so i'm thinking off taking money from the insurance company to repair it myself just to use the money for something else. (LED H4 bulbs here we come!)

    Picture below the bumber attached.
