bumps - is it just me, or does Mirage suspension exaggerate road imperfections?

Sometimes road imperfections bumps, transitions, small holes, seem dramatically worse in the Mirage than in other cars. Guess it's the small tires, but I want to be sure I'm not hurting the suspension, tires, wheels. I'm used to a full size Ford pickup.
I've looked at places that felt like I bottomed out, only to see a small imperfection in the road. Wonder if it's the Dunlop Enasaves? I like them otherwise, and they are great on smooth roads.
    Thanks.

Tomrad, it's the 14inch Narrow Tires. When I had my wheels put on and the rims were just a little bit wider I noticed a Diffrence . So if you got some wider tires and maybe 15, or 16 inch I think you would notice a big Diffrence

It's not just you, the suspension is way too soft for my liking and the stock Tokico's provide minimal dampening and rebound control. It's been expressed that the suspension was designed for developing countries with poorer roads than Europe, USA, Australia. Whether that's true I don't know but it makes sense.

This is a fact. The mirage's suspension is waaaaaaaaaay too soft, especially in the rear, IMO.

I don't mind the ride. I just want to be sure I am not damaging it. Seems like the smallest bumps are craters.
Thanks for the replies, much appreciated. I guess I worry too much about the cars suspension.

Ever since I changed my springs, I have been extremely happy with the difference in the ride

Wow, 50 psi. No wonder you get 55mpg. I like the idea, as long as the tires can handle it. Better a little over than a little under.

I average 52 mpg, with a cvt and 35psi in the tires.

The suspension in my Mirage is soft, under-dampened, and just plain clunky and clonky. Normally, I don't mind the soft ride since I have my tires aired to about 45 psi. The soft suspension helps keep the fillings in my teeth when I go over potholes with pretty seriously overinflated tires.

I don't mind the soft ride, but I do wish Mitsubishi would put in struts that, I don't know....ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING.

Is this 50 psi with cold or warm tires? I've been afraid to exceed the 44 psi rating, but I would love to go higher. Thanks
