Hi hope someone could help. i just noticed today that my rear humidifier doesnt work. sorry dont know whats it called. its the button at the right side of "Auto" for the A/C. The button lits up but i dont hear any sound that it was working at the back, im supposed to hear a blower sound like when its turned on. The only thing i hear is a click sound when i turn it on, and i can hear a click or tick sound on the fuse part under the steering wheel.

I suggest referring to your manual for more info on that button.

Does your rear window defog after pressing this button? It heats the wires in the glass so moisture evaporates. There is no blower noise.

you sure there is no blower noise? As i recall from the start when i got the car and tested the rear i know i heard that blower sound just like from the front defog. Correct me if im wrong.

No blower, the rear defogger simply uses a thin wire that has electrical resistance. When current is applied when you turn the switch on the resistance is converted to heat which warms the glass which clears the condensation off the rear window. That's why the rear window looks like it has those thin copper colored lines.

Front defogger is driven by fan, rear demister or rear defogger is just wires on the glass, they don't make noise, they only heat the glass...
