    oil filter 1230A152

I had replaced my original filter with a 1230A105 (same part number), now the dealer shows it NLA, the new number is 1230A152.
Does anyone know what the difference is? Is the 1230A152 an improved filter (maybe has anti-drainback valve or something)?
I like the small size of the 1230A105 original, hoping the replacement is the exact same size. Makes it easy to install. Thanks.

If you google search the two filters it looks like the older number is a 'mirage' filter and the newer number is used by many other vehicles. That may mean its a bit larger. But, if Mitsu says its the filter to use I'd be fine putting it on my car. They have to hold up their end of the warranty work.

Purolator lists PL14610 filter, which is really big a$$ filter for so small engine.

Bigger filter helps with starts in cold conditions, and has more dirt handling capacity.

Same filter as the first gen Insight, got one years ago I never used, a Mobil M1-108 to go with my Mobil 1 oil. Also picked up a Bosch D3323 which is a larger filter than the Mobil 1.

    regards
