But mine already has all that.... :-) Except mines better, I have in-dash sat nav, pioneer speakers, DVD player, bluetooth, soundproofing... And mine cost less than $1000 I can assure you... And even though its not a mitsubishi sat nav, the steering wheel controls still work, for the radio, bluetooth and DVD player...

The new mirage is going to have to be exceptional, otherwise I'll be upgrading it again.....

Mitsubishi Fixed The Mirage, You Guys: Here’s The Rockford Fosgate Edition

Fortunately, some level heads prevail (somewhat) in the comments. Several people take the writer and other commenters to task for the knee jerk put-downs of the Mirage, including at least one member here, festiboi.

Man, this is a polarizing car. 77 comments about a new sound system option has to be some kind of record.

Agreed. But my point still stands. A decent HU and speakers on an ES should be a lot less than their asking price.

Add 2 subs and amp plus labor at the shop.

Naa.. just a couple guys slamming an econobox for well, being an econobox.

I can see where it is coming from, they probably the same guys who were slamming Metro or Civics back in 70s, when they were even smaller than Mirage.

Also if you planning to do work yourself, you are looking at $100 speakers, $100 amp, $250-$350 head unit and $150-$200 sub. $700 plus labor to put a decent system. So paying $1k for it at the dealer isn't bad at all.
/|\ This. Tunes are very important to young buyers.

They watch the forum. Its free feedback their marketing department doesn't need to pay for. How often or how much it effects decisions is another question.
