That is a concern, but how effective passive sinks're gonna be when you've got stuck in traffic in 40C temperatures?

The LED bulbs I put on my other vehicle (2004 Prius) have passive heatsinks. IMO its a simpler and superior design. They should be designed to handle being stuck in traffic. I'm not saying they are, but they should be.
Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

maybe till well known brands like Philips/Osram/Sylvania/Bosch offer LED bulbs in standard halogen type socket sizes, then I'll give them a try.

Expensive, but seem to be the best of the best.

They don't appear to be available in the US. Yet.

Oh, and they have a hilarious video for a light bulb.

HOLY Toledo Batman - that's expensive. I hope that price is for a pair.

BUT if they are reliable, durable, and functional, it might just be worth it.

    Thanks for the info.

The way I look at it if you get 2 years out of it at $53/pair you got your money's worth.

woah. the price is kinda steep. 250$ for a pair? i'd buy em for about a 100$.. or if what they've shown in the video would give me all that in one night, i think it's worth $250 + the cost of the fog, tail, and cabin light LED's..
