Smart phone dock recommendations?

Looks like your phone holder is blocking the automatic climate control sampling port. It looks like a small air intake grill centered just below the buttons. Maybe someone smarter can verify this.

I was wondering what those were for. Would this actually impact anything? HVAC and temp controls seem to still be functioning since it was installed.

If it works, it works - right? If you haven't noticed any difference, it's probably nothing to worry about.

I use a suction cup one on my dash but I use two way tape to keep it in place never problem.
