Nissan Sway (next gen. Micra replacement)

    http://www.carsuk.net/nissan-sway-it...y-funky-micra/
The Nissan Sway Concept has been revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show as a properly funky take on a new supermini to replace the current Micra.
Though it is unlikely to be sold in US, it is a rather looker.

I never like concept cars. They always end up looking like cars from Back to the Future 2. They're unrealistic, and the design money would be better spent on a new design that would actually be feasible. I understand there has to be thinking for the future, but let those designs stay in the company, and don't show off ridiculous concept cars like they'll actually make it into production.

    I really like that design.

From what I've read, the closest we'll see to those lines in North America is the next generation Leaf.

We have the K13 Micra in Canada (2015 marked its first year available here after a multi-year hiatus). But the Sway-inspired K14 Micra will probably not make it across the pond. It's supposedly a Euro market effort.

It is definitely a pretty car, and some prototype features such as glass roof will obviously not make into production.

I'd like to sit in one to see how much sacrifice was made to function due to styling. If you consider how efficient Mirage is both in packaging and aerodynamics, it is amazing how attractive it is within those constrains.

That is one ugly car. I am no fan of Nissan styling lately - and I once owned a Datsun.

I like the old Datsun Bluebird or 510 sedan more than this.

Looks like here is what the actual new Micra will look like. I gotta say, I do like the styling of it.

I doubt we'll ever see this in the US though. It would eat into Note sales.

Whoa...the new Nissan Sway rocks! Not gonna come to the U.S., though?
