Stalling Issue (service bulletin)

Vehicles affected by service bulletin:

2014 Mitsubishi Mirage
2015 Mitsubishi Mirage
Equipped with continuously variable automatic transmission and built before Jan. 19, 2015.

The problem: Due to a rich air-fuel ratio, the vehicle may stall at low engine speeds just prior to stopping or during idling when operating in high ambient temperatures. This could lead to positive crankcase ventilation hose disconnection.

Corrective action: Dealers will reprogram the engine control module software to optimize the air-fuel ratio and eliminate the problem.

Warranty info: This repair is being done free of charge under the new-vehicle limited warranty.

What owners should do: Call your local dealer with your vehicle's identification number to determine if it's involved in this service bulletin. You can also call Mitsubishi at 888-648-7820 or NHTSA at 888-327-4236. Reference TSB No. 15-13-001R2.

sorry guys its been a long time since I have logged in.

I experienced the stalling last summer in June, I knew something was up I took it to the dealer and all they had to do was reprogram the computer. Its been running fantastic since then and that is the only time she has been back to the dealer.

I have a 2015 ES with CVT. No issue, although my VIN shows up at owners site , which states I need the reprogramming.
