How many hours have you run this engine now? 326hp out of a 1200cc engine is pretty amazing. Just curious if you've experienced any catastrophic mechanical failures.

Given what I know of the 3a92 mine shouldnt have any issues holding this power level for a good while, but of course this isn't a daily so it's hard to say. I've been over 300hp for some time (maybe 40hrs run time).

Catastrophic failure? Yep! I had 43lbs boost accidentally go in and blew my head gasket. Right now the power level is 350hp measured, when it did 43psi it would have been about 415hp at the wheels lol 🫣

Just amazing you can push that much boost through this engine and not have it grenade. Definitely proves that with a moderate amount of boost generating 200-250hp it should be reliable. I've said it before but the 3A92 in the Mirage is really a awesome little motor.

Yes they really are! Designed for economy but we're built strong. What's most impressive about the accidental overboost is the crank held probably 500hp (briefly) and all that went wrong was a blown head gasket.

It'd be fun to see that power in a stock-looking Mirage doing some trolling.
