Good price for what it is. Usually I prefer 14 GA as a minimum, and I have several 12 GA cords. 16 won't carry much of a load. Too much resistance, and will overheat if overloaded. Just sayin'.
Good point, per the retailer description this cord is rated to 13 amps. Per ESFI, roughly 3,300 home fires originate in extension cords each year, killing 50 people and injuring about 270 more.
