    It won't make your shifting any smoother, no.

    Sorry, I couldn't help myself. To answer your real question, the CVT knob unscrews the same way, but the shaft is narrower. The size you need is M8x1.25, according to this thread.

    I know it's an old thread, but I had to post that my Blox weighted shift knob arrived today and took all of 2 minutes to install with a 14mm wrench. It is incredibly nice and feels great! Definitely improves shifting and makes everything a little more "solid". I bought it specifically after seeing this thread...
