Can i use this as a sub?

hi there,

i still got my old boom box which was already broken but the good thing is the woofers is still in good shape, now im planning if it can be used as a woofer for the car since it has a good deep bass.

its from this boombox


and this is the actual speaker




i got two of these woofers. if ill make a box for the woofers do i still need an amplifier? i wanted these just to have more bass.

haha but i dont know how much watts or the ampli should i buy for this woofers and do i still need a ampli or can i connect it directly with tje HU by using a sound cable to use a rca.

I'd say about 90% of the performance of a subwoofer is not the subwoofer itself, but rather how it's enclosed.

well I'm no technician. but I know that car gives 12 volts and you should check how many the sub need... good luck and pls update us of how it is working
