US: $3500 factory rebate on 2015 Mirages ... 2017 arrives soon

Just posting this dedicated topic in case people haven't seen the news Dontee posted in another thread about the big discounts just announced on new 2015 Mirages (available on all trims, all transmissions) in the U.S.

Hey guys Officially they just put $3500 in rebates on 2015 mirages time to buy is now!

Just found out Officially that $3500 Rebate, can actually be $4000 Rebate, With $289 of mark up from MSRP to Invoice you could legitimately get these cars priced out way under what you can find a used one for. Good luck buying the 15's up. 2017 hit in one month

I just looked, and 2015 DE 5-speed, without loyalty and military discount, is $8,995. With those discounts, $8,245. That's just ridiculous.

I wonder if they're doing anything like this in Canada.

We already have a perpetual $2500 factory rebate on the base Mirage to fight it out with the $9998 Nissan Micra, so I wonder if they're going further than that.

It is absolutely nuts that you can buy a brand new car with power everything for the prices you can. Most vehicles of that price point have manual mirrors and windows and such like that. With the USB and Aux you get standard is awesome too. Thanks Metro for mentioning me in the posts above.

And now our resale values will plummet even more than they already have. Good thing I like it and plan on keeping it. In a few years there will be no point in trading it in just to get nothing for it. I will probably just get another Mirage in the future and then modify the hell out of this one. Hopefully a nice turbo will be available for it in a few years.

That sir i am sorry to say you are correct. I just had a customer here trying to trade, He has a ton of miles on his 14. But now it is about 3500 less than what it should be. But hey it is better than owing a VW diesel since they dropped like crazy and we can even sell them. or really want them as a trade in
