Headlights for Space Star / Mirage

    Hello Mirage-forum

I am the happy owner of a 2015 Mitsubishi Space Star (which I guess is similar to the Mirage according to my online research).

I want to make some styling modifications, therefore I have been looking to modify my head and rear lights.

I have found this video of some headlights for the Mirage:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIxSYg7_Leo

This has given birth to a few questions of mine:
Is it possible to make your own custom headlights like that?
Is the side light something you can just install on top of the stock headlights?
Is this possible to make for someone who is not a styling professional?

I am very novice, when it comes to styling - so any advice is appericiated!

Nice to see another one from my country congrats. I hope you enjoy your car and fuel economy. About the headlights I would say they give a lot of light especially high beam. If you don't know how to modify your light don't do it. Do some good research first. good luck

You may do it but the learning process may be steep .. might be easier to have it installed by a professional.

They do these mods in the Philippines .. the video link is uploaded by FireDrake and has an FB page:

Didn't expect to see a Dane in here, Cleartec Greetings

My research has taken me to this info:
To create a similar effect you would need to wire a strip of silicone and install the LED-strip on top with a controller.
Then cut the top off with some foil matching the car-colour.
I have not discovered the kind of bulb in the headlight - does anyone know what kind of bulb that is?

Also, my search has gotten be past this taillight, which is gorgerous!

Theres a video of it here:

Is the Space Star, sold in Europe, the same as the Mirage around the world?
Would the tail light marked for Mirage 2012-2014 fit a 2015 Space Star?

Check local laws before modifying headlights. I understand most countries have laws regulating lighting - some more stringent than others.

    Welcome to the forum!

Just gotta bake your headlights in the oven to soften the glue. Pry them open, then go for gold.
Need a decent amount of skills to install projectors/drl lights and that though.
