My dealer gave me a 2015 outlander sport last year for my airbag light and they gave me a 2016 outlander sel 4wd yesterday.

It had 540 miles on it when I got it, full leather sel trim with the 4wd/awd. It's the 2.4L too thankfully, averaged 22 mpg which is almost what I got with the 2.0 outlander sport (2015). The outlander sport felt like a slightly larger lifted mirage, the outlander feels like a suv, good cargo area.

The dealership called me today and said my tpms light (I had my other wheels and tires I got from another member on here) was reset with sensors reset, the ecu update, wiring connector fix, airbag sensor were all replaced. The fast key is still having issues, they want me to bring my spare fast key to see if it's a car sensor or the fast key itself.

Nice that the dealer is taking care of you with a loaner. Also that they registered your new TPMS sensors to your vehicle.

Here's hoping the FAST key problem is no big deal. I'm interested because I have the FAST key on mine.

Got my mirage back yesterday thankfully after spending $8.50 in gas vs $4.00 I spent with my mirage doing the same trip. The outlander sport feels exactly like a mirage inside to me, the outlander feels like a larger Vehicle. It was difficult to park, didn't fit in my garage and used too much fuel. I was paranoid about curbing the 18" wheels. The led headlights, tai lights and the steering wheel were amazing!!!

My fast key light is still on and having similar issues even with spare key. I also just had a issue with the driver side auto down and up. Then I remembered reading a post where you need to cycle all the way down and up, sure thing it started working correctly again! Phew lol. I also mentioned my leather steering wheel wear, the guy said he doubts Mitsubishi will replace it under warranty, but he will submit the claim to see.

I wonder if they disconnected the battery? I understand that would cause the window motor to lose it's 'memory'.

Too bad about your FAST key problems. Did the service techs say what might cause it?

They needed to cycle both keys into the emergency key cradle to get the fast key operation to function correctly again. They took pictures of the steering wheel to submit for warranty claim as well. In the same 2016 outlander sel with 700 miles on it now. I miss my mirage but if I had to buy a cheap suv the outlander isn't a bad deal at all, the sport to me feels the same size as the mirage with more cargo area, the outlander actually feels bigger and gets similar mpg for me at least

Well when I went to pick up my mirage they charged me for two batteries. I complained because I had just bought batteries $3 vs their $10, they credited me back the $10 for a future visit. Now I'm waiting for Mitsubishi for the steering wheel
