Eggman! AWEOME, thank you! If you get a chance the pics will help me...

Good to hear you have good memories of the PNW!

edit...what a pain. I see where the pad goes, but once out its not liking going back one bit. I am not sure of the orientation either.

...and seriously,I had no clue this was a major performance part. I watch videos of guys adding one, two three washers carefully to increase the height to get the perfect shift performance. Here I am just trying not to jerk into the downshifts and these guys are seriously sweating millimeters of pedal depression.

Here goes. Let me know if you would like any other photos.

These are all available in my photo album Clutch Pedal Detail.

Perfect....now I feel extremely dumb for trying to get it to attach to the round part on the floor with the hole in it where the petal contacts the ground---haha. Will give it a try now that I see the correct way- Big Thanks

Just got it in! Fit back with a little arm twisting! :-) /// will be claiming to my friends that I repaired the clutch on the transmission just to sound impressive.

Excellent. Now it's your turn to document this repair.

Was a snap. It's hard to miss...when looking in the right place, bu there is only one hole on the arm that holds the clutch pedal. The phallic part of the piece has to be forced back in but it wasn't too bad, and the bottom part wraps around. There is a touch of yellow paint that should be facing up if its oriented correctly.

No idea how a part like this could come off...I can't imagine even if you were slamming the clutch pedal it would be easy to pop off, so I am going to assume it wasn't all the way on to begin with.

Way to come through in the clutch.

thanks guys I just found mine on the floor a week ago, still sitting in my cup holder... I think I must have knocked mine off on a long road trip while my foot was under the clutch pedal
