Can the dealer activate the instant MPG for me??? It would be worth it for me.. I would love to have it just to see the difference between a hot cruise on a flat road in July as opposed to the same in January...

Has anyone had any luck with the newer model Mirage's? I have a 2018 ES hatch and, while I've enabled this page in the MID, it only shows --.- right now. I have the manual AC control if that's anything worth noting.

I have no problem going in and adding the wiring/sensor if it isn't there on the refreshed Mirage models.

18 probably doesn't have the sensor or wiring for it. The outside temperature sensor is really for the auto climate control and the temperature showing up on the cluster display is an afterthought idea for it.

My 2019 has wire harness from factory and bought a sensor.
Cluster still shows --- C on it. Is there any way to test if the sensor I bought is busted?

From the wiring diagrams I've seen the external temperature sensor does not connect to the ECU - it actually connects to the automatic AC controller. The AC controller then sends the reading back to the ECU, which then sends it to your display.

If my understanding is correct, without the automatic AC controls, there is no way to get temperature readings on the stock gauges.

    Make Sense!

Usually dealing with Europeans, they are usually connected to CAN bus. Therefore, a simple as-built coding will do the job.

This reminds me installing cruise control on 2010 EU focus mk2 is way easier than 2010 Civic.
Two wires and IDS+VCM will do the job!
