Power lock on the left passenger side broke

Has anyone had to deal with a broken power lock yet? This is for our 2017 ES G4, the base CVT one. The fob won't unlock or lock the passenger front door. It can however be locked or unlocked from the inside.

The Left hand side is the drivers side eh.
Just to confirm. You are able to lock and unlock all the doors except the rh front(passenger) using the fob and the button on the door panels?

If that's the case then it could be a broken wire, possibly where the wires go through the rubber grommet at the pillar or the motor in the door latch itself **** the bed. I remember seeing a couple people on the forum have that happen.

Today's tip: Always refer to the sides of your car like you're sitting behind the wheel, not standing outside looking at it.

On another note, these cars seem to have a lot of broken wire issues...

What if you're standing at the back?

If I'm inside the car I can manually flip the switch and lock/unlock the front right passenger door. The fob does nothing to that door. Works on the other 3 though.

When you say "switch." Do you mean the power lock / unlock switch? Or do you mean the lock knob by the door handle?

Just for clarification for those on here who can actually help.

    The lock knob still functions.

Time to take the door panel off. If your lucky the power lock motors plug came loose. If not get the multimeter out and see if the wires going to it still have voltage(with the key at on of course).
