I noticed on Natural Resources Canada that they list the most fuel efficient vehicles for each class. I was surprised to find the 2016 Ford Fiesta SFE listed under Subcompact. At first I thought it was because there was no 2016 Mirage.

I sent a complaint to them asking why the Mirage wasn't listed and they came back that the Mirage is considered a Compact and not a Subcompact because it has over 100 cu ft. of interior volume. That puts it in the same size class as the Prius C, which obviously has lower numbers.
The Ford 1.0L Ecoboost option is only available on the SE trim as a $1500 option. Ridiculous!
