I've bought one of the MUT3 clones and ETACS decoder software as well as the oe CC switch online (thanks for that part number Satria_wr) hoping that I wouldn't have to buy a used Outlander Steering wheel (or pull one from a wreckers).

After a bit of messing around I managed to change the engine's ECU to "present/active" for the 2 cruise control functions, I was wanted to deactivate the annoying "ECO" light too but that's for another day....keep it simple right?

And it works! The CC dashboard lights don't illuminate but I may be able to fix that when I go back in to kill that "ECO" light. And I didn't have to run any wires from the wheel to the ECM either!

I've changed a couple of simpler things like the unlock feature via the keyfob.And now I don't have to go back to the dealer hoping they don't screw me for stuff like this anymore!

Sure, here's the source for the MUT3, shipping is a bit pricey but it's fast. It has the updated firm ware for our generation Mirage's and they were helpful when the drivers didn't install.http://www.obdsvs.com/

I signed up as my Dad & I are trying to get the OEM Cruise Control on his 2017 Mirage.. Now we installed the steering wheel parts and that did not fix it. but from what I been gathering we need some more parts and a program and wire to laptop to car to reprogram the computer..

I was wondering if anybody has this working on the 2017 Mirage. I would like to know specifically what parts are needed and such..

I will post some pics tomorrow as right now it is dark outside.. Thank you and hopefully we can get this working.. I am not worried about getting durty as I am very mechanically inclined and this stuff is in my back yard so no problems here..

I found a 2015 Outlander steering wheel on ebay. All I needed was a Toyota VCI cable and the free ETACS software. Mounted the new steering wheel at my 2015 Mirage DE. Everything plug and play, then flashed the MCU with both cruise control settings on.
And it's working fine, cruise and multimedia controls. But am I right, that there is no indication light at the dashbord beside the cruise on/off light?

That's correct. Just the indicator that says that cruise is on, nothing to show that a speed is actually set.
