Weather Tech Floor & Cargo Liner Images

WeatherTech Floor Liner and Cargo Liner Images for Mirage

Hey...these images aren't the best but you get the idea. These things fit the Mirage like a glove. I wouldn't have a car without these on the floor!!!

    FRONT

    Driver's Side

    Passenger Side

NOTE: 2 plastic anchors were included with the kit that screw into the factory carpet to hold the passenger side liner in place. I haven't installed these yet. I will wait to see if the liner stays in place without them. I don't have any anchors in my current driver and it hasn't been an issue.

    Cargo

The anchor points for the passenger side front mat must be a running change. I got my WeatherTechs in February of '15 and they don't have that.

So far, mine have held up very well. I have 36k, and get in and out of my car 50-100 times a day...wearing combat boots.

Does the 2017 have passenger anchor points?

Pictures or it didn't happen - including boots, por favor (I have some flight deck boots.)

Lol...sure, but we will need to wait for some daylight. I am actually rather surprised at how well the mats have stood up to the abuse.

If they can take this, then they can take anything.

I heard the mats were thin. Your experience says that's not such a big deal.

You'll laugh. A guy I work with is always looking for his next pair of boots. When he's online looking at boots, I call it boot porn - just can't look away.

    Kind of like floor mats.

Someone must have complained and they made a mold change?!? I can't imagine the passenger side liner moving around without anchors...there's no where for it to move! But I'll keep the anchors handy just in case.

EDIT - After more than a year with these things, I would definitely say that the front passenger side mat will not stay in place without anchors. Every time I have a passenger get in, the mat scoots forward...maybe 1/2 to a full inch. Then I have to re-position it. The downside of this is if it moves too far forward, the mat can hit the evaporator drain line which will cause water to get on your passenger side floor when you're running your AC. This hasn't happened to me, but others have reported it.

But the "carpet" in these cars is so thin, I am skeptical that the supplied "screw-in" anchors will work that well.

That's true...they are not super-thick. But they hold up. I have had an issue with the rear mats in my current driver. They are small, individual liners and the edges have started to curl up (after 7 years of use). I need to hit them with a heat gun or something to help re-shape them. But they are not 1 continuous piece like the second row Mirage liners. I think the second row Mirage liner is a much better design.
