I think your issue is the 15x8 @ 20 offset. those rims are just too wide. either the offset is low and they stick out and rub fenders or the offset is higher and you end up rubbing your suspension parts. I thought that might be the case and hence why i asked what tire size.

I am going to be buying a set of 16x6.5 44 offset and according to tirerack, with 195-45-16 there is zero rubbing. I plan to slap a set of federal tires, or whatever cheap alternative I can find. sadly the company I work for doesn't give a **** about their employees, our labor rate is 110 to customers, employee labor rate is 66 bucks. we aren't allowed to use our own parts which includes things like oil, and the old tire discount we got no longer exists, we used to get Michelin tires damn near half price of what the customer pays, even cheaper if they are common sizes. now they took that away and started charging their own god damn employees to work on their own cars which is outrageous. so the only thing I can think to do is buy the cheapest tire possible. I will end up with cheapos but with such a light car i dont think it will matter as long as it grips dry/wet.

Just followed your instagram to keep up on Irene. Wicked hair by the way. Definitely one of the best mirage builds around, very clean and tasteful.
