    I might have to try this out- getting REAL sick of the useless location of the tiny filter. Especially with winter coming.

    I hear that....my old place had a tiny garage, too small to work in that's why I did the mod.
    Now I just bought a new place with a huge heated garage/workshop with room for all my toys/tools.(I think the house is a bit smaller to be honest....)
    Be careful to run some rtv on the boss inside of the O ring of the block adapter if you do this mod, see post #18 on this thread

    I tried this on my F150 which had a much more diffy filter location than the Mirage. I ended up putting the filter back to the stock location, 24 inches and 2 uni joints from the left wheel well and no more drip drip drip.
    Skills: Cage fighting, computer chatting, making sweet moula

    Aw man, you just give up too easy! Remember.... Ultra-Black rtv is our friend.

    we just fabricated a used timing belt to pull the filter out its very easy...i worked at a service shop we do this every day we change oil filter of more than 10 mirage a day no complain from the mechanic.
