Need help finding holes in firewall

I've ordered some assorted LED's for my car, including fog lights and DRL's. I want to have switches for these lights that come out near the fuse panel on the driver's side. I want to avoid drilling anything if possible, but I've been looking and looking and I can't find a good place to feed the wires through the firewall. Is there any resource that shows available holes in the firewall, or does anyone know of any on the driver's side? I found a black plug on the passenger side, but I don't want to run the wire that far, since the switches will be on the driver's side. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. How did you get the metal cover off of that spot?

You mean the insulation? The hole was already there, but I had to drill through the fire wall. Before you do this make sure you have some anti-rust substance and tape to make the fit snug.

That spot in my car has some sort of metal disk with a single black wire coming out of it. Sorry for the blurry picture, but you can see what I'm talking about. Maybe it's because mine is a manual and yours is a CVT?

Oh that's interesting. Do you know if you have the wiring already set up? I heard some Mirages have the wiring for fog lights already installed.

It could be. However since the stealerships started charging $100 to program fog lights, I decided to just ditch the factory ones altogether and wire some generic ones directly to the battery and run my own switch. I'll probably just try to find another clear spot on the firewall and drill one big hole for the fogs, DRL's and whatever other LED goodies I end up installing.

Is that black wire making it's way to the clutch on the transmission?

I'm almost positive that it is, although to be honest I'm not entirely sure what the clutch looks like from the outside.

So far I drilled a pinhole in the rubber stopper in the passenger side for one wire, and I'm going to drill a bigger hole somewhere on the driver's side once I find a safe spot to do it.
