So maybe I'm late but suddenly recalls?

And so it all began with phone call from the dealership telling me there is a recall on impact sensors on my lil 2014

Now today turns out there was 3 recall total

    1> impact sensors
2> corroded wires under driver seat carpet

For these two I found all the info online
    But

3> reprogram one of 6 computers inside the car.
Couldn't get much info out of service manager.

Has anyone here in the forum heard about any type of reproggraming that needed to be done? Haven't really found anything online.

So if someone knows, please do share!

    Cheers!

The engine runs very rich on cold start which can lead to engine damage. The reprogram fixes it so its not running as rich.

The wiring is a terminal block behind driver side kick plate (where your left foot rests). The recall is to prevent corrosion from water and salt creeping up there. They simply put a neoprene cover over it.
I haven't heard about the impact sensor one yet.
    Will weld for beer.

Perfect thanks to both of you.

And concerning the wireing. They have to order the whole harness is what i was told as my connectors are corroded. It's gonna be a 4hrs job! O_o...

Wow. Yours is one of the bad ones.... some had so much corrosion they were having electrical issues whereas mine was pretty clean considering our long salt laden winter driving season.

Is the reflash a quick job? I'd like to have it done without dropping the car off. Guess it depends on the dealer.
I am not worried about the connectors as i don't drive the car in salt and snow. Maybe skip that recall for now

Some 2014s had airbag sensor problems, I think left front? That is probably one of the recalls.

Yes, it's a quick reflash. I had both recalls done...wiring connector and reflash...done at my dealership a month or so ago. It took about an hour.
