Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, I was at the dealership this morning and noticed the Lancer (EVO and GT trim) and the Outlander have the exact same fender vent.

My side indicators are the tinted version i got off ebay for a lancer. Look great (Y)

I got the same ones. Kinda hard to see that they're smoked in pictures but still look good.

Don't know why Mitsubishi wouldn't put functioning side markers on the EVO, I understand why they didn't on the Mirage.

Mitsubishi tend to do things the cheap way. Instead of redesigning a new fender without the side indicator, they moved it to the mirror, then just put a plug in the hole.
Like their headlights on the lancer/outlander/asx. America needs the reflector in the side of them. Instead of doing one light for that market, and make the rest normal, they did them all the same to cut costs.

My Depo LED side markers came today. Can't wait to put them on. This might be the most straightforward mod there is!

I have a Alibaba account so if we could get a general interest in how many I could get a price quote. They are small enough and light enough to not cost too much to mail from my place to anywhere in the USA.

I would be interested in the smoked LEDs, but not for the incandescent version.
