coolant - at low line in reservoir

Just noticed expansion tank shows coolant at low line. This is after sitting one hour, after a 40 mile drive. I'll add some, but not sure where to buy it. It's blue.
Also. No sign of a leak, at 25k miles. Is this normal consumption, to lose a tiny amount? Thanks.

Found it at Autozone - Pentofrost A3 is the same as Mitsubishi MZ320125 blue coolant. My overflow needed about 16 ounces to bring it to the 3/4 full mark (below full). Anywhere between F and L with cold engine is good per the manual.
Hope this helps someone. Advance and some other places sell Pentofrost A3.

Good find. Here is their product spec sheet.

Thanks for the find, I'll keep it in mind.

In situations like this I just add some water. Small amount of water is usually OK unless you live in extreme cold climate.

Also check oil if it has signs of coolant contamination

The Pentofrost A3 is already mixed at the appropriate 50/50 ratio. If you do add water make sure it is distilled water only. Tap, purified, drinking type waters all have minerals of some level in them.

I suspect the slight coolant loss is normal and caused by evaporation. The reservoir tank has a simple vent, just a 1/4 or so inch hole, so not surprising.

Distilled is usually the safest bet but for example our tap water would be good too.

Electric kettle after several years of hard use shows virtually no scale build up. In emergency small amounts of drinking water sold at store in galon jars would be ok too,

yeah you are right. In my country the water is really hard(a lot of calcium). Taps here gets clogged up pretty good. So I put destilled water in cars

Ours is soft but not to extreame. I've been to places where it was soo soft you could not wash off soap/shampoo off your hands/hair. Very annoying, but makes for good tea.
