    77,000 and climbing no oil useage to speak of, cvt used about a half a quart so far though.

    Sorry to thread jack but how does a cvt use oil? Did it leak?

    Not sure just checked it and it was low i get the car washed everyday so its hard to tell

    Just a FYI, there is no filter in this CVT. It's just a drain and refill. Since the belt is metal it might be long term beneficial to drain and change it. Your usage would meet the "severe" category. Every 30k.

    while i appriceate the advice, i can barely afford the payment on this car and the maintence i need to do beyond spending 19 dollars on each quart of fluid for the cvt.

    For anyone reading this in the future, the cvt does in fact have 2 filters that are user serviceable. one paper cartridge filter thats on the side of the transmission and one metal screen filter in the pan

    I really wonder if that metal one would ever need replacing though. Seems a bit redundant considering the paper exists and considering it's replacement interval.
