Wondering about 50k plus cars, oil consumption?

I am at 25k, no need to add oil between changes. How about higher mileage Mirages?
I found my car needed a little coolant at 25k, about 16 oz. I will keep an eye on it. But not enough oil usage to worry about between regular changes.

I'm at 40k miles. Oil consumption every 7.5k miles is a few millimeters on the dipstick - so very minimal. All other fluids are good and at proper levels. Only issue is illuminated airbag light. Should be fixed soon under transferable warranty.

54k hard miles with very heavy idling. Sometimes idling 10 hours a day, no oil usage. Just sounds like a rattle machine under the hood. I really want to check my valve clearance, I don't trust the dealer and I've never done a shim style adjustment

I had a fair amount of clatter too, switching to 5w-30 totally pretty much eliminated it.
