Does your Mirage whistle to you?

Maybe its only when my Mirage is happy, but it will whistle to me under the right circumstances. The whistle comes from the front lower passenger side. I assume I have a messed up belly panel or something like that. With the wind and car at the speed right, it whistles to me like someone blowing across an open bottle, but higher pitched. I haven't had the chance to look under the car and see what may be out of place. I'll try to get a audio clip if I can. I tried it once and the phone didn't seem to pick it up.

    Anyone else have this?

Mine does but only since I replaced my left side-view mirror.

No whistle here. Had that happen on another car though, turned out to be a plastic panel near the tire.

Yeah, I've noticed that my Mirage underbody plastic bits are a bit messed up by the previous owner. I'll get to tidying it up this spring. Its still a bit chilly out.

In a really strong crosswind I get a bit of that blowing-over-a-bottle noise from the tops of the doors. The wind has to be strong enough to nearly blow the car off the road.

I just picked up my 2017 ES cvt yesterday. I love it except for a whistle that I find a little concerning/annoying. Seems most pronounced at low speeds and between 1000 and 2000 rpm. Can’t tell if it’s just a resonance issue somewhere in the vehicle, but can’t help but worry it’s transmission related 🤷🏻*♂️. It totally disappears on the highway. Thinking about the car whistling to me does make it seems less worrisome.

it only whistled when I had this thing attached at the exhaust tip .. LOL

I have to remove it whenever I have to go for emission testing (yearly vehicle registration renewal) so the analyzer probe can be inserted properly.. I became lazy to put it back.

My 2014 definitely had a whistle on windy days while driving at highway speeds with a strong crosswind. It was more of high pitched howling. Like someone said above, like blowing over a bottle kind of noise. It was very loud. Startled the hell out of me the first time it happened.
