    Is the mirage fly by wire?

    Does the Mirage employ a fly by wire throttle?

    I believe all new vehicles sold in the US are now drive by wire.
    Custom Mirage products: Cruise control kit, Glove box light, MAF sensor housing, Rear sway bar, Upper grill block

    Current project: DIY Nitrous oxide setup for ~$100

    Yep. Nobody uses throttle cables anymore.

    That is correct, you can't adjust idle speed unless you reprogram the ECU.

    If the engine is dying when it isn't supposed to you have a problem and should get it fixed. I'm not sure I completely understand your situation though.

    So the engine doesn't rev up when you hit the throttle? Or are you just trying to drive without hitting the gas? I'm a little lost too.
