Other facts

• the sedan's handling is "different" from the hatch, though this isn't explained (DRAT!)
• the first batch of 7,350 sedans allotted for ASEAN markets is just finishing production, and includes left-hand drive models destined for the Philippines
• 35% of Mirage production (161,000 units, total, est.) will be sedan variants, or ~56,000 sedans

Maybe to appeal more to taxi companies in some countries? I think Alpha One already suggested he could see the Mirage sedan being used for taxi service.

Some of the hatch specs are wrong - wheelbase 2450mm and overall length 3710mm [ from NZ specs ]

Thanks. It occurred to me to check the newspaper's figures... but I didn't.

So now we're left wondering whether the sedan specs are also wrong.

Correction... the overall length figure was correct in the article (my mistake), but the wheelbase spec still doesn't add up.

Blog Car Review has Andy Hutama quoting the Attrage wheel base as 255cm which makes the differences in specs add up!!
May be the Taxi suggestion has merit.
