Mounting locations for phones & tablets

    Howdy!

I need some ideas. I am asking for what y'all are using to hold your smart phones and/or tablets. Pictures not necessary, but helpful.

So far I am leaning toward a windshield suction-cup mount as I'm not quite ready to drill any holes. However, I'm concerned that it might take away from forward visibility.

    What's your preference & experience?

This is the style I have used for the last three months and it hasn't come off one time. It's a suction cup style that has the cup like the 'sticky hand' material. I drive for Lift and Uber almost daily, and it works great. The smooth flat trim above the HVAC vents works great for this style of mount.

I had thought about using the radio trim piece, but worry that any suction cup residue might not wash off.

Anyone mount their phone or tablet below the climate controls?

I used to use a strip of velcro to the left of the radio controls, but all of the above solutions sound better than that.

If you don't play CDs and have base radio (I stream everything these days). This one has a good strong magnet. I bought another on that my phone kept sliping off. You stick a small plate on the back of phone or case.Name: 20160725_174259.jpg
