    For sure! small accomplishments are always good. I haven't done much repair work but one time I was able to replace the car power window buttons and it felt good plus saved lots of money vs going to the shop!

    Just changed my filter. Looks like I should have done it quite some time ago. Bought the car used, just made it a little bit past the one-year mark.

    Yep, pretty typical for them to look like that. The holes in the cowl cover are rather large, so anything much smaller than a peanut will get sucked right down into the filter. Whatever makes it past the cowl cover but doesn't get sucked down into the filter is supposed to run off through drain holes behind each front wheel, but once those holes get plugged up debris will accumulate in the fenders, like this...
