Car now is around 53k kms, about a couple of months ago, the fan started to produce a wild buzzing sound when it kicks in. Initially i thought it just needed some lubrication so i sprayed some silicone lube around the area.
But recently, when in idle i noticed a jarring noise and looked at the fan again. It looks like the fans arent balanced and makes the whole assembly wobble. So i placed some cable ties on points and clips for it to be snug and not vibrate too much.
Is there diy fix for this? What seema to be the problem? Or should i have the whole fan assembly replaced?
Thats interesting. When I crank my car up and the fan first starts mine makes a noise too like its hitting something for about the first 30 seconds then it calms down.
