    Build in Rear view camera

    Hello guys..

Recently i succesfully installed my pioneer f930bt navi
And i have the option for a backup camera..
I saw a thread for a camera you can mount..
Now i was wondering if there is anyone that installed one that you can build in.. like drill a hole...

    Curious for your experiences

The drill in with a hole saw is easy just drill in the center of your bumper and drop it in. I haven't looked at what is behind the center of plastic bumper hopefully not a metal bracket. I have successfully did it on my Honda crv no trouble. Now the thread you mentioned here I believe states there are pre wired in the hatch lid. Also thread from here shows it being mounted on the hatch lid not the bumper. I would prefer hatch lid mounting over hole saw and bumper.

The DE is not prewire,.. maybe the ES is but someone have to look. I use the factory camera which I cut the factory size hole to mount it on the hitch. if you mount the camera on the bumper it will be so low that you can't see cross traffic...
