I think you should get a sponsorship from Keystone for product placement

Trip to Florida 12-2023 Everglades with my XT250 Yamaha and car loaded with 2 weeks worth of camping goodies. 70mph on cruise control averaging 40mpg. Going home from Everglades to central Iowa in 23 hours and a little over 1600 miles.

Nice! I wish the G4 5 speed can tow like that as I have yet to see it here.

Picture of my dash running down I75 in Florida. My manual is rated for up to 600lbs towing capacity. XT250 Yamahopper around 260Lbs plus the trailer 250Lbs and not much wind drag. Wee*****y zipped up to 70mph easily on the I75 approach ramps without going anywhere near redline.

    What do you mean?

If anything, the G4 would be the better tower between the two (G4 & hatch). Wheelbase length (at least in the WB length zones of the Mirage) means a lot, all else being equal.

Mechanic, who has a G4 5-speed, towed A LOT MORE weight than I have. He towed a loaded out uhaul enclosed trailer. It was the smaller & shorter uhaul enclosed trailer if I remember right, but he said trailer was loaded out. He used it relocating from Minnesota or Wisconsin to Texas. 3 or 4 trips down with it, from my memory.

The trailer is about 875 pounds. Gate down in "interstate" mode.

Just a slow, local, tow of a friend's golf cart. Just a few miles, 5 people in the Mirage (4 in there in the picture).

I think the atv is about 750 pounds.

The bike for sure is 750 pounds. The bike & atv are positioned weight neutral (no extra tongue load) on the trailer.

You can't tell it, but I cut off and relocated 1 of the gate's angle irons, then added another (so +1 in total) so that the rear tire of that motorcycle sits between the 2 L's ... so the rear tire cannot scoot/wander left or right. You can see that there's an angle iron directly in the center in the first 3 pictures. Not so any longer. Makes a great bike hauler.
