How can I find the build date?

I'm looking into a used 2014 Mirage and I'd like to know if it has the early 2014 springs or the 2015 springs on it. Is it part of the VIN or can it be found on the door plaque?

Vin would have a code difference from 14 to 15. My 2015 was built in July of 14.

As far as I know, you can only get the year from the VIN and nothing more specific.

Look at the labels on the door jamb, around where you would find the tire pressure specs. There will be a sticker that will say something along the lines of "date of manufacture" along with a MM/YY date.

Thanks guys.

I forgot I had run a carfax on the car and that showed the build date being in January of 2014. So, it has the more mushy springs on it.
