Those that have pics look like the 2017-19 models.

I've been a bit confused by all the hype myself. I believe the 2020 G4 may be getting a facelift?
The 2020 Mirage hatch is unchanged from the '19s. The 2020 Mirage G4 is supposed to get a new grille. The 2021 Mirage...which we thought would likely be on a new platform...gets the look we see here in these spy pictures, but stays on the current platform.

    I think it looks great!

I'm driving a 2014 Mirage that I like so much I'm thinking about a new one. When I thought the 2019 models were the last of the current platform I made vague plans to buy one and give the 2014 to my son. Then I heard 2020 was the same platform and put it off.

Now I see these pictures of what the 2021's might look like (look good to me) and hear "same platform" so maybe put it off again. Perhaps the biggest fear is that the manual transmission option will disappear as it seems to be doing everywhere. My personal car has always been manual transmission.

Owing a 2017 Mirage, I like the looks of the 2014-15 the best. The don't really care for the upcoming look, but it wouldn't be deal breaker in buying one. From a distance, it looks like it doesn't have a front bumper, but that's because everything is black in the middle. I don't care for the look of a lot of new vehicle on the market, however. I really don't like chrome, but my 2017 has even more it.

Since they are adding more standard features to the base level Mirages each year, I don't really see the need for 5 trim levels any more. They could go to back to 3 trim levels and offer a manual option for all three. That's not the trend in the auto industry, however.

A Mirage without a manual transmission is of no interest to me. If someone gave me one today, I would trade it for a manual tomorrow.

The best part of all this - I don't sense any Renault or Nissan influence on the upcoming model. For me, that is good news!

Yup, a solid L-bar as a park light, and three led dots for the brakes.

I like the L-bar light. My 2014 Mirage rear lights are 2 red blobs. Ordinary but large rear lights compared to the size of my Mirage.

Thanks for the photos, bloodehunter. Neat to see what's coming up for the Mirage's new design in a few years in Canada and the USA.

I like those new rear lights. I think waiting for a smashed '20 might be my plan instead of putting '17 LEDS back fitting them into my '14. I notice you can still install the the cool LED running/brake/backlight panel in place of the reflector.

    Where's Waldo?

No hint of future Mirage in the latest Mitsubishi Motors [global] year-end report:

Notice anything missing in the snapshot of future plans for the car's biggest market? [Southeast Asia = ASEAN]

The revival of the Ralliart sub brand is a big deal.

This could signify a performance-oriented direction for the company, too.

Maybe the 6G Mirage's swan song will be a performance edition.

I mean anything's possible, but I can't imagine they'll do much with the existing platform.
